Kate is currently preparing for the international release of her first fully-produced, debut album. The 12-song album has been exquisitely recorded and engineered at Garey Shelton Productions (Seattle, WA). Joining Kate's effort in the fray were Ben Smith (drums/percussion, Heart), Keith Lowe (bass, Fiona Apple), Garey Shelton (bass, Tingstad and Rumbel) , and John Morton (electric guitars).
After spending the middle portion of February in England with audio mixing engineer Marcel van Limbeek (Tori Amos) laying down some additional recordings and mixing, Kate will be returning to England some time in May to master the album alongside Marcel. Rumor has it that Rosemary Banks (cello, Tori Amos, Abnormally Attracted to Sin) will be making appearances on the album.
Kate has taken extraordinary care with the crafting of each song, both inside and outside the studio. We know that you've been waiting a long time for this, but the finished product will prove stunning.
